PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption from a commercial power source in an energy saving mode by supplying power not from the commercial power source but from a fuel battery in the energy saving mode. SOLUTION: First, an amount of power for expelling exhaust heat or exhaust water, which is required in the energy saving mode, is calculated from information acquired by a humidity sensor and temperature sensor. If it is judged that exhaust heat or exhaust water is unnecessary, the exhaust heat or exhaust water cannot be used effectively despite the use of the fuel battery. Therefore, a user is made to select the commercial power source or fuel battery to use. If it is judged that exhaust heat or exhaust water is necessary, a comparison is made to determine whether or not power generated in a regular energy saving mode is enough for the amount of power. If it is not enough, an auxiliary heater and units and devices in equipment are turned on using the commercial power source.
