PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus capable of assisting the determination of a surgery range for an invisible tumor. SOLUTION: The medical image diagnostic apparatus 1 comprises: a display part 5 for displaying a medical image indicating a portion of a subject; a storage part 7 for storing information; a means for relating a tumor range surrounding the tumor of the portion from the medical image to a structure around the tumor and generating position information D2 indicating the position of the tumor range; a means for preserving the generated position information D2 in the storage part 7; and a means for reproducing the tumor range on the basis of the preserved position information D2 and making the display part 5 display the reproduced tumor range together with the medical image for a surgery.
