The invention provides an air filter assembly (10) including an air filter (12, 12a, 12b, 12c) extending along a central axis (14) from a first end (16, 16a, 16b, 16c) to a second end (18, 18a, 18b, 18c). The air filter (12, 12a, 12b, 12c) decreases in width along the central axis (14) from the first end (16, 16a, 16b, 16c) to the second end (18, 18a, 18b, 18c). The air filter assembly (10) also includes a filter housing (20) partially enclosing the air filter (12, 12a, 12b, 12c) and defining an aperture (22) adjacent to the second end (18, 18a, 18b, 18c). One or more airstreams can be directed through the aperture (22) to the air filter (12, 12a, 12b, 12c). The air filter assembly (10) also includes at least one valve member (24) rotatable about a rotation axis (26). The valve member (24) pivots around the second end (18, 18a, 18b, 18c) to block at least a portion of the aperture (22). |
