PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change response properties of camera shake correction according to a shutter speed. SOLUTION: When a release button 113 is half depressed, an exposure amount is calculated, and the shutter speed is determined from the calculated exposure amount (step S83). A gain calculation part 74 determines a gain of feedback control of a correction lens 12 according to the shutter speed. Namely, when the shutter speed is faster than 1/250 seconds, the gain is changed to G1. When it is 1/250 to 1/60 seconds, the gain is changed to G2. When it is 1/60 seconds or more, the gain is changed to G3.
