PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device, selecting a suitable commuting route from a plurality of commuting routes. SOLUTION: In the navigation device, a user beforehand specifies and registers a start spot 33 for starting the display of jam information display screens 60a, 60b and places (intersections 22b, 22e) displayed as jam information display screens 60a 60b. When a vehicle travels the commuting route and reaches the start spot 44, jam information display maps 60a, 60b in the intersections 22b, 22e are displayed as a pop-up screen on the display screen of a display monitor 16. In this case, the jam information display maps 60a, 60b overlap-display an arrow 62 indicating jam information on a map displaying the periphery of the intersections 22b, 22e.
