PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scooter type vehicle securing the capacity of a storage box, facilitating taking-out, capable of accurately controlling a fuel injection means and having improved air intake efficiency and filling efficiency. SOLUTION: The scooter type vehicle 1J is provided with a unit swing-type engine 10 elastically supported by a vehicle body frame 2; a fuel injection type intake device 47 having a throttle body 48 connected to an intake port 55 of a cylinder assembly 39, an air cleaner 48J connected to the throttle body 49, the fuel injection means 50, and a controller 58 covered with a vehicle body cover 26; and the storage box 7J arranged above the engine 10. A fuel tank 9J is arranged in the vehicle body before the engine 10, and a helmet 6 can be stored on a front part side of the storage box 7J by forming a helmet taking-out space 80 on the vehicle rear part side.
