PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust recirculating device of an internal combustion engine capable of restraining generation of a sulfuric acid, while properly securing recirculation of exhaust gas. SOLUTION: An ECU 100 predicts the generation of the sulfuric acid caused by cooling recirculating exhaust gas recirculated to an intake passage 20 from an exhaust passage 30, and selectively puts the exhaust passage 30 on the upstream side of a catalyst 31, the exhaust passage 30 on the downstream side and the intake passage 20 in a communicating state in response to this predicting result. With this constitution, since the sulfur component concentration included in respective exhaust gases is different between the upstream side exhaust gas and the downstream side exhaust gas, the generation of the sulfuric acid can be restrained by properly securing the recirculation by selectively recirculating the upstream aide exhaust gas and the downstream side exhaust gas to an intake system in response to a generation predicting result of the sulfuric acid.
