PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top-railed sliding door device which is highly rigid and capable of stably stopping swing of a sliding door by using a swing stopper using prevailing lower rollers even when the top-railed sliding door device is used for a partition part of a wide opening. SOLUTION: In the top-railed sliding door device 1, the sliding door 4 having sash rollers 5 arranged on the upper part is fitted to a top hanging rail 3 fitted to an upper frame 2a, and the lower rollers 6 are arranged on a lower part of the sliding door 4 so that they may travel on a guide rail 9 laid on a floor surface F by which the sliding door 4 is prevented from swinging. A frame 8 having the length substantially same as the length L2 of a lower frame 4a is arranged inside the lower frame 4a of the sliding door 4 in a manner of being urged downward by an urging means 7, and the lower rollers 6 are fitted to the frame 8.
