PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic-inorganic composite resin composition, which is excellent in basic performance such as transparency, heat resistance, and humidity resistance and can be suitably applicable to various usage such as optics usage for lenses and the like, opto-device usage, display device usage, mechanical component materials, electric/electronic component materials, automobile component materials, civil engineering and building materials, molding materials and the like, and a cured product formed by curing the organic-inorganic composite resin composition. SOLUTION: The organic-inorganic composite resin composition comprises an organic component and an inorganic component, and the organic component essentially includes a cationic polymerizable compound having a conjugated structure comprised of seven or more carbon atoms, while the inorganic component essentially includes an organosiloxane compound having a cationic polymerizable group.
