PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align an optical axis of an optical device and an optical axis of an optical waveguide easily. SOLUTION: The optical connector includes: the optical device having an optical element and a light collecting part through which the light received and emitted from/by the optical element; and a module having an opening part in which the optical waveguide for propagating light is inserted and a supporting part provided across the opening part and a space to support the optical device on a surface of at least part of the light collecting part and align a position of the optical axis of the optical element and a position of the optical axis of the optical waveguide.
