PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a through hole having a curved portion in a member without causing misalignment (overrun), and to reduce the work hours. SOLUTION: The through hole having the curved portion in the member is formed by the method comprising the steps of: drilling the member from one end; penetrating the member in a straight line from the other end; forming a tapped hole in an overrun section of the through hole; press-fitting a press-fit pin into a first stage of the overrun section; and screwing a plug screw into a second stage of the overrun section.
