<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot availability management system for shortening the waiting time of a vehicle at an entrance of a parking lot, and for improving the operation rate of the parking lot by detecting a vehicle before arriving at an exist gate machine, and detecting the actual availability of parking spaces. <P>SOLUTION: This parking lot availability management system is provided with an entry vehicle sensor installed near an entrance gate machine 6; vehicle sensors 13 and 14 for exit installed on the way of an exit guidance route 4; and an availability determination controller 15 for adding a vehicle detected by the entry vehicle sensor, and for subtracting the vehicle detected by the vehicle sensors 13 and 14 for exit, and for comparing the counted result with the preset maximum number of vehicles which can be parked in the parking lot 1, so that it is possible to determine the availability of the parking lot 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
