<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device in which a top end portion of a flexible printed circuit board is prevented from being slanted and as a result an electrical connection between both of connector terminal rows can surely be maintained. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is provided with a flexible printed circuit board having a connector terminal row on its top end portion, a socket in which a circuit board side connector terminal row of an outer controlling unit is accommodated, and a lock member for locking the flexible printed circuit board top end portion while inserted into the socket, and moreover there is provided a temporary holding mechanism provided on the socket or the flexible printed circuit board top end portion for holding the flexible printed circuit board top end portion until the flexible printed circuit board top end portion is inserted into the socket and is locked by the locking member in order for both of the connector terminal rows to be electrically connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
