<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more properly perform the printing of an image which is based on structured data including printing image information and style information at least according to a printing demand from external equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A print adapter 30 used for connecting a printer 20 to a digital television 50 includes a document analysis module 33 for interpreting XHTML data, a CSS interpretation part 34 for acquiring a CSS designation size which is the size of a printing medium which is designated by the style information of the XHTML data, and a printing setting management module 35 which can establish the printing medium which has the physically maximum size among printing media PM1, PM2, ... as a printing medium for execution, in the case of the printing medium which has the size equal to the CSS designation size is not included in the printing media PM1, ... after determining whether the printing medium which has the size equal to the CSS designation size is included in the printing media PM1, PM2, ... which can be handled by the printer 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
