摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting mirror having a spheroidal plane, which achieves a higher light condensing efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A Z-Y rectangular coordinates system is employed, in which the intersection between the light emitted from one point between electrodes 46 and 48 and is reflected on the reflecting surface, and Y-axis is represented by Y coordinate while the illuminance at the intersection is represented by Z coordinate, with a second focal point f2 as an original point. Respective coordinates on the Z-Y rectangular coordinates of three reflection beams L1-L3 emitted from three points, namely S1, S2, and S3, and reflected at an arbitrary identical reflection point Ra are assumed as a point P1(Z1, Y1), a point P2(Z2, Y2), and a point P3(Z3, Y3). The angulars of the reflecting surface at respective reflecting points are so corrected that the area between reference lines QL1 and QL2 in the region formed by sequentially connecting, with a line segment, the point P1, the point P2, the point P3, a point y<SB>3</SB>(0, Y3), a point Py<SB>1</SB>(0, Y1), and a point P1, is wider than in such case as the emission beams from the three points are reflected on a true spheroidal plane to form a reflecting surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
