PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction apparatus for reproducing content in quality grade suited for performance of reproduction environment.

SOLUTION: This reproduction apparatus is one for reproducing content subjected to compression coding in MPEG-4 method and the like. For each object, an identifier for identifying this object, an object dictionary for recording object data of this object in association with each other, a reproducing means for determining whether the object in the content contains the identifier or not when content, which contains an object consisting of the identifier of the object dictionary corresponding to object data, is inputted and then performs reproduction by replacing the object with the object data corresponding to the identifier with reference to the object dictionary are provided.
