PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface magnet synchronous machine which is economical and excellent in weak flux controllability. SOLUTION: A magnetic induction portion 3 is formed adjacent to a magnet rotor portion 2 in the axis direction. The magnetic induction portion 3 may be formed with a magnetic salient pole portion 32 in the d-axis direction.
