PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flared type pipe connecting structure capable of improving sealing performance and pipe supporting force, a valve and a flared type pipe joint using the flared type pipe connecting structure, and further a refrigeration unit using the valve and the flared type pipe joint. SOLUTION: In the flared type pipe connecting structure, a flare portion 31 composed of a smooth surface is formed at an end of a pipe 3 to be connected, and the flare portion 31 is held between a main body side seal surface 16 of a joint main body 1 and a nut side seal surface 24 of a flare nut 2 while the inner surface of the flare portion 31 is pressed against the main body side seal surface 16 of the joint main body 1.
