PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing/drying machine capable of exhibiting excellent wrinkle reducing effects by introducing and filling mist generated in an atomizing unit into a rotary drum and effectively wetting the surface of clothes, and capable of retaining the quantity of mist introduced into the rotary drum in a fixed range even if the quantity of generated mist varies. SOLUTION: A bottom opening 4e is formed at a position facing an air inlet 18 on the bottom wall 4d of the rotary drum 4, and a thin disk-shaped partition wall member 4f is mounted/fixed to the front face of the bottom opening 4e. A large number of bottom wall through-holes 4g are formed in an approximately long rectangular shape in the circumferential direction over almost the whole area of the partition wall member 4f, and dry air and mist 20 generated in the atomizing unit 30 are introduced into the rotary drum 4 over the air current along the direction of a long side of the approximately rectangular shape of the bottom wall through-holes 4g form the air inlet 18 via the bottom opening 4e.
