PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of presenting information relating to a program or a scene to a viewer by receiving metadata containing related information relating to contents.

SOLUTION: A digital broadcast receiver 1 stores in a storage means 50 contents (data broadcast contents 50a and video-audio contents 50b) and metadata 50c containing related information, acquires a playback time of the video-audio contents 50b by means of a playback time acquiring means 621, acquires related information corresponding to the playback time from the metadata 50c corresponding to a content reference identifier of the data broadcast contents 50a under playback by means of a related information acquiring means, and presents the related information on a display screen by means of a related information presenting means 623.
