<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar lighting device in which assembling work of a reflector into a transparent substrate that is integrally formed of a light guide plate and a housing frame can be performed easily and leakage of light from the transparent substrate can be certainly suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: Slits 36 for inserting the bending portion of a reflector are provided at the boundary of a portion 2A corresponding to the light guide plate and a portion 2B corresponding to the housing plate of the transparent substrate 2. On the other hand, the reflector 6 arranged on the rear side of the transparent substrate 2 is composed of a main body part 6A and a bending part 6D formed integrally with the main body part 6A along the outer periphery of the main body part 6A. The bending part 6D is bending worked at a prescribed angle based on a perforation 6G applied at the boundary with the main body part 6A and is inserted into the slit 36. Thereby, assembly work of the reflector 6 into the transparent substrate 2 can be performed easily, and leakage of light can be certainly suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
