<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of changing height of an image reading part and an operation panel to facilitate the operation by corresponding to user's height and physical features when using a wheel chair. <P>SOLUTION: In an upper part unit 35 arranged in an upper part of the image forming device, user's hand cannot reach an ADF 1, the operation panel 2, and a scanner 3 because he/she operates the image forming device while a foot rest of the wheel chair protrudes, thereby causing problems in setting a document and confirming display on the operation panel 2. Since a side part unit 49 is arranged on a side face of the device, the second operation panel 5 is positioned at a position where his/her line of sight is in the front when seated and at a lower position where his/her line of sight faces downward when setting a document in the second ADF 4 to facilitate the operation. As for document paper trays 53, 54 stored in the second ADF 4, if any one of them is opened or closed for use, the other of them is simultaneously opened or closed. When the document paper trays 53, 54 are closed, the operation panel 2 operates, and the second operation panel 5 does not operate. When the document paper trays 53, 54 are opened, the second operation panel 5 operates, and the operation panel 2 does not operate to prevent erroneous operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
