<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical phased array antenna achieving reduction in a data rate while avoiding an increase in the size of a device and complication of a circuit, and also achieving improvement in the accuracy of angle measurement. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical array has a low array structure, two systems of receiving system low feeders are independently provided to perform AD conversion, DBF multibeams are formed in the direction of an elevation angle, and monopulse beams are formed in an azimuth direction.
