<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the torque and to enhance the strength of a golf club shaft while retaining the lightness and restraining the increase of the flex of the golf club shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club shaft has at least six prepreg layers of the full length layers disposed in the full length of the shaft, and at least two sets of bias-set layers with inner/outer bias layers crossing reinforced fiber layered as the full length layers. When one half on the inner side of the shaft of the full length layers are divided as inner layer parts and the other half on the outer side of the shaft as outer layer parts, the outer bias layer of at least one set of the bias layers is disposed in the outer layer parts, and the inner bias layer of at least another set of the bias layers is disposed in the inner layer parts. A hoop layer is disposed in contact with the bias layer in the outer layer parts, and a straight layer is disposed as the outermost full length layer in the outer layer parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
