CRYSTAL DEVICE WITH MONITOR ELECTRODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure vibration characteristics of a crystal piece even after a mounting substrate 2 is joined to a crystal vibrator 3 of a surface-mounted crystal oscillator constituted by using the crystal vibrator 3 having an external terminal 10 to be electrically connected to the crystal piece 8 formed on a bottom surface and joining the mounting substrate 2 mounted with an IC chip 1 to the bottom surface of the crystal vibrator 3 after measuring vibration characteristics of the crystal piece 3 using the external terminal 10.

SOLUTION: A crystal device is characterized in that a crystal monitor terminal 22 to be electrically connected to the crystal piece 8 is provided on an external side surface of the mounting substrate 2.
