PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle capable of suppressing damages of a battery unit at the time of collision from a power unit installation side or at the time of collision from a power unit non-installation side. SOLUTION: In the electric vehicle of the present invention, a bracket 23 supporting a battery unit side of a power unit 16 to a vehicle body is formed with a fragile part 48 on a battery unit side, and a bracket 21 supporting a side opposite to the battery unit to a vehicle body is formed with a fragile part 56 on the opposite side. The fragile part on the battery unit side is broken by an impact load input from one end part of the vehicle body at the time of collision on one end side of the vehicle in the longitudinal direction smaller than an impact load input from the other end part of the vehicle at the time of collision on the other end side of the vehicle in the longitudinal direction. The fragile part on the opposite side is broken in a stage earlier than the break of the fragile part of the battery unit side bracket at the time of collision on one end side of the vehicle in the longitudinal direction by a load larger than the impact load breaking the fragile part of the battery side bracket at the time of collision on the other end side of the vehicle in the longitudinal direction.
