PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a composition of an electric steering column device for reducing cost. SOLUTION: A column tube 20 is a single component assembled to a tube guide bracket 51 immovably in vertical/lateral directions and movably in a column shaft direction, as well as assembled to a lower bracket 40 immovably in the vertical/lateral directions, movably in the column shaft direction, and rotatably (to be capable of vertically inclining). In addition, the composition that the column tube 20 is movable in the column shaft direction to the lower bracket 40 functions respectively during vertical position adjustment of a steering handle SH and during column-shaft-direction position adjustment of the steering handle SH to be used for the both adjustments.
