PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm allowing acquisition of an alarm history without imparting uneasiness to a user using the alarm. SOLUTION: This alarm has an alarm part outputting each alarm signal according to a detection target when a level of each electric signal outputted by a detection part detecting gas leakage, carbon monoxide, or occurrence of a fire, for example, as one or more detection targets, converting each detection level into each the level of the electric signal to output exceeds a prescribed value. The alarm also has a switch part imparting an instruction to make a preceding alarm cause held in an alarm cause history holding part holding the history of at least one preceding alarm cause outputted by the alarm part, i.e., the detection of the gas leakage or carbon monoxide, or the detection of the occurrence of the fire. When receiving the instruction by the switch part, prescribed sound predetermined in each the preceding alarm cause outputted from the alarm cause history holding part is outputted.
