PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently input a desired character or symbol via a keyboard displayed on a display. SOLUTION: A string field section 20, a key section 22, and an option section 24 are displayed on a rear LCD, or the like, of a digital camera. A neutral key 24a is provided in the option section 24. When a cursor is moved from the option section 24 to the key section 22, operation means is operated with the cursor positioned at the neutral key 24a, whereby the cursor is moved to the key section 22.
