PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device capable of preventing the degradation of display performance. SOLUTION: The organic EL display device includes a first substrate having a plurality of display pixels PX arranged in a matrix. The display pixels PX include first and second display pixels PXA, PXB alternately arranged in a first direction D1 approximately parallel to a row of the display pixels PX. The respective first and second display pixels PXA, PXB include a display element 40 for emitting light of predetermined luminance depending on a magnitude of a current, a drive switch DSW for driving the display element 40, and a pixel capacitor Cpx connected between a gate and source of the drive switch DSW. The pixel capacitor Cpx includes a first electrode CE1 and a second electrode CE2 arranged opposite to each other through an insulating layer. The pixel capacitor Cpx of the first display pixel PXA is arranged in a periphery of one boundary of the first display pixel PXA and the second display pixel PXB, and the pixel capacity Cpx of the second display pixel PXB is arranged in a periphery of the other boundary.
