PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent backlash of a lens hood attached to a lens barrel. SOLUTION: The imaging device 1 includes: a lens barrel 3; and a lens hood 9 which is freely detachably attached to the front face of the lens barrel 3 by its being rotated in a circumferential direction. In the imaging device 1, the lens barrel 3 has, on the front face, a guide wall 111 formed along the circumferential direction, and an engaging recess 115 which engages with the lens hood 9. The lens hood 9 includes: a guide recess 118 which is slid over the guide wall 111 by its being rotated in the circumferential direction; an engaging projection 119 formed so as to be raised or lowered, and engaged with or disengaged from the engaging recess 115; and a pressing member 120 which presses the end face of the guide wall 111 in the circumferential direction in the place where it is engaged with the lens barrel 3.
