PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the rigidity of a bridge by panels fixed to a girder of the bridge. SOLUTION: An elastic body 8 forming a joint between soundproof walls 4 and a portion 4b of the two soundproof walls 4 adjoining both sides of the elastic body 8 is removed from the constructed bridge 1, and an inter-panel space 9 is formed. Thereafter, a bag member 10 is set in the inter-panel space 9, and mortar 12 in a fluid state is filled in the bag member 10. Thereafter, when the mortar 12 is hardened, the adjoining soundproof walls 4 are fixed to each other by the mortar, and therefore, the plurality of soundproof walls 4 fixed to the girder 3 are formed into a unitary body. In this manner, the rigidity of the existing bridge 1 can be increased by the soundproof walls 4 fixed to the girder. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
