PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural member for a rainwater storage and penetration system which increases strength, and the rainwater storage and penetration system using the structural member. SOLUTION: A three-dimensional structure 1 is formed by assembling a plurality of rod-shaped transverse members 2 and a plurality of plate-shaped transverse members 3. In this case, a first engaging portion of the vertical member 2 and a second engaging portion of the transverse member 3 are engaged with each other in a vertically slidable manner. The plurality of vertical members 2 are provided in a vertically arranged manner, and the first engaging portion of one vertical member 2 is engaged with the second engaging portions of the two horizontal members 3 adjacent to each other in the vertical direction. Thus, even if the vertical member or the transverse member is displaced in the vertical direction by a ground subsidence etc., only the follow-up sliding of the first and second corresponding engaging portions can prevent those engaging portions from being ruptured due to the impossibility of following.
