#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves controlling a starting clutch of a motor vehicle such that a load of an internal combustion engine is reduced by the starting clutch that is to be closed in a slip, when a speed of the combustion engine decreases. A starting process of the vehicle is proceeded by closing the clutch, when the engine speed is stabilized and/or increased.
