<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten pig iron tapping hole structure in a melting furnace and a repairing method therefor with which the extension of the service life to the molten pig iron tapping hole can be obtained and the shortage of the repairing time to the molten pig iron tapping hole can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The molten pig iron tapping hole structure is as follows: in the molten pig iron tapping hole formed in a furnace wall brick, a refractory brick-made sleeve is arranged, and in a gap between this sleeve and the hole part for molten pig iron tapping, a stamping material is filled up and fixed. Further, this repairing method for molten pig iron tapping hole is as follows: after straight-linearly dismantling and removing the worn portion of the stamping material 2 from the outer face side toward the inner face side, of the furnace wall, in gap between the dismantled face 4 and the sleeve 2, a new stamping material 5 is filled up and sealed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
