A STREAMS DISTRIBUTION METHOD FOR USE IN IPTV SYSTEM

A streams distribution method for use in IPTV system includes the following steps: the content preparation function module sends a request for streams distribution to the content distribution and location control function module (S 102); the content distribution and location control function module produces distribution tasks according to the distribution strategy after receiving the request for streams distribution from the content preparation function module (S 104); the content distribution and location control function module interacts with the content delivery and storage function module, responds the streams distribution request from the content preparation function module (S 106); and the content preparation function module distributes the streams to the content delivery and storage function module (S 108). The invention can reduce the cost of the respective components of the IPTV system, improve the reliability and expansibility of the respective components of the IPTV system, and can improve the core competition ability of the IPTV system.
