<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conference apparatus in which much higher presence is obtained by matching a direction that a speaking partner gazes steadily with the display direction of the speaking partner. <P>SOLUTION: The video conference apparatus includes an imaging camera, a sound collecting microphone, a display for displaying a speaking partner thereon, a communication interface device and at least one function of a rotating mechanism and a tilting mechanism. The imaging camera, the sound collecting microphone and the display are integrated, the imaging direction of the imaging camera and the display direction of the display are matched, and at least one of rotating operation and tilting operation is performed for the integrated apparatus in response to a command from the speaking partner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
