RECORDING METHOD, WRITE-ONCE MULTILAYER OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM, PROGRAM, RECORDING MEDIUM, INFORMATION RECORDING DEVICE AND INFORMATION RECORDING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly record information in a write-once multilayer optical recording medium having a plurality of recording layers.

SOLUTION: If optimum recording power in a first information layer L0 where user data is first recorded is not decided in recording user data in an optical disk 15 being a write-once double-layer optical recording medium compatible with a blue laser, it is decided by OPC in the first information layer L0 (steps S403 to S413). When a second information layer L1 is to be recorded, optimum recording power in the second information layer L1 is calculated from the optimum recording power in the first information layer L0, and information is recorded in the second information layer L1 by using optimum recording power in the second information layer L1. Thus, test recording in the second information layer L1 becomes unnecessary and thus information can be quickly recorded in the second information layer L1.
