摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-capacity positive electrode active material capable fully extracting excellent characteristics that metal magnesium or the like has as a negative electrode active material such as a large energy capacity, as well as a manufacturing method thereof and an electrochemical device using the positive electrode active material. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode 11 is structured of a positive electrode can 1, a positive electrode pellet 2 consisting of a positive electrode active material or the like, and a metal net support body 3. A negative electrode 12 is structured of a negative electrode cap 4, and a negative electrode active material 5 such as metal magnesium. The positive electrode pellet 2 and the negative electrode active material 5 are arranged so as to pinch a separator 6, inside which 6, electrolytic solution 7 is injected.
