<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, a lockout control method and an information recording medium, which hold favorably security, while reducing labors for a manager when releasing lockout. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: a lockout control means for rejecting the use of a function by an account failed in an authentication to lock out the account; an authentication request receiving means for receiving an authentication request for the account locked out by the lockout control means; and an authentication means for executing the authentication by a prescribed authentication method, based on the authentication request, wherein the lockout control means releases the rejection of the use to part of functions out of the functions provided in the image forming device, in the account, when succeeding in the authentication of the account locked out by the prescribed authentication method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
