PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor for further shortening a required time than software processing, and for executing a plurality of types of data format conversion processing. SOLUTION: A format conversion processing part 3 is provided with a first input buffer 10 for storing input data ID: an output buffer 14 for storing output data OD; a conversion processing part 12 connected between the first input buffer 10 and the output buffer 14; and a register 13 which can be referred by the conversion processing part 12. A plurality of types of conversion pattern CP can be set according to desired data format conversion in the register 13.
