<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a coating resin film having excellent surface smoothness and uniform film thickness and a transfer substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate for an optical recording medium is prepared by a step for applying a liquid resin 14 onto a stamper 10 having a functional shape on its surface and an annular recessed part 12 in an inner circumferential region which does not contribute to the functional shape, a step for bringing a resin film 13 into contact with an upper part of the liquid resin, a step for performing spinning-out and restricting the liquid resin to the recessed part 12 and a step for peeling the resin film 13 after the liquid resin 14 is cured by irradiation with energy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
