<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warranty registration system in which a merchandise retail store inputs, manually or cooperatively with a merchandise inventory database and a POS system, a product warranty through the Internet to a database storing product warranty information instead of a member who is a purchaser. <P>SOLUTION: When a member wants to register the data of warranty description in purchasing merchandise, an affiliated retail store directly registers the warranty of purchased merchandise and merchandise desriptions in a database exclusive for a member in association with the own merchandise inventory database or a POS system or manually. Members accesses the database by using exclusive accounts, and manages, collates and transfers the warranty on the WEB between the members. The system always inspects whether or not recalled merchandise, stolen merchandise, and imitation merchandise are registered in the warranty database, and to, when such merchandise is found out, notify the members by using all communication means, and to also notify a recall enterprise, a sales manufacturer or a public institution or the like, of the inspection result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
