PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic-carbon nanotube display device, wherein reduction in a pixel area-bus wiring width is suppressed, while suppressing leakage current, at off-operation. SOLUTION: A field effect transistor uses carbon nanotubes as channels, wherein the drain electrode and the source electrode are connected in series with a plurality of carbon nanotubes, and carbon nanotubes 1, in contact with the gate via a gate insulating layer, are doped to have an n-type or a p-type, and carbon nanotubes 2, in contact with the source and drain electrodes, are doped in a complementary fashion with the carbon nanotubes 1.
