PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of failure of a liquid amount detector when a liquid feeder provided with the liquid amount detector is filled with liquid. SOLUTION: A method of filling the liquid feeder with the liquid includes: a storage container which can store a liquid storage body; a preparing step of preparing the liquid feeder by which the liquid stored in the liquid storage body is supplied to the outside through a flow path inside the liquid amount detector; a filling step of filling the liquid storage body housed in the storage container with the liquid; and a connecting step of connecting the liquid amount detector to the liquid storage body which is filled with the liquid.
