PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load applied to a bore tube via a tight cover caused by an air pressure. SOLUTION: This apparatus includes a bore tube 11 inside which an imaging space is formed to place a subject 200 in imaging, a static field magnet 1 which is placed outside the bore tube 11 and generates a static field in the imaging space, a gradient field coil 2 which is placed between the bore tube 11 and the static field magnet 1 and generates a gradient field to superimpose on the static field, and the tight cover 12 which forms a vacuum space in a surrounding of the gradient filed coil 2 around together with the bore tube 11 and the static field magnet 1, wherein the tight cover 12 is fixed to the static field magnet 1 and is pushed toward the static field magnet 1 by the air pressure at a different part from the fixation part.
