PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly, accurately, and easily measure the circumferential dynamic friction coefficient of a barrel part of an article having the cylindrical barrel part. SOLUTION: In the dynamic friction coefficient measuring method for measuring the dynamic friction coefficient of the outer peripheral surface of the article 5 having the cylindrical barrel part, two of three articles 5 of the same outer diameter which are measuring objects are stacked on the lower stage and one of them is stacked on the upper stage in a straw bag shape and on their side so that each axis is in parallel, a rotation preventing means 6 for preventing rotation of the article 5 is mounted to one article 5 on the upper stage, the two articles 5 on the lower stage are rotated in the same direction while the rotation of the one article 5 on the upper stage is prevented by the rotation preventing means 6, frictional force is applied to the outer peripheral surface of the one article 5 on the upper stage, and the load applied to the rotation prevention means 6 for preventing the rotation of the one article 5 on the upper stage is measured.
