<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device performing more useful display by using a main display area and a plurality of sub-display areas, and also to provide a technique related to the image display device. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus (image display device) 1 is equipped with a rear monitor 12 (display means) having the main display area MR and the plurality of sub-display areas SR1 to SR3. Further, the display control means of the imaging apparatus 1 controls display contents on the rear monitor 12, to display a plurality of images in the plurality of sub-display areas SR1 to SR3, and to display an image P displayed in one sub-display area (for instance, SR2) of the plurality of sub-display areas SR1 to SR3 in the main display area MR as well. When predetermined change (rotation or the like) is performed to the image P, the image P2 which is in the state where the predetermined change is performed, is displayed in both of the one sub-display area SR2 of the plurality of sub-display areas SR1 to SR3, and the main display area MR. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
