<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a target prepared by an examiner to be presented in display-type target presenting equipment and permit the examiner to easily prepare an optometric program using the examination target. <P>SOLUTION: The eye examination instrument has the display-type target presenting equipment installed in a prescribed distal optometric distance and used for optometry, and adds a specified file name to image data of a target prepared on the basis of an optometric distance, a target size, and the pixel size of the display and stores in a writable storage device. An operating unit to select a target displayed on the display has an existing target selection key to select a target prepared by the manufacturer and an additional target selection key to select a target added by the eye examiner. The optometric instrument has a control means to call the image data of the target to which a corresponding file name is added from the storage device and displays the target on the display, when a signal by the additional target selection key is sent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
