<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing technology capable of storing logs, without canceling jobs, when storage capacity runs short, during job processing. <P>SOLUTION: Before starting the job, a log management section 45 sums up an approximate estimate of a data quantity of logs that is generated until the completion of the job and a data quantity of all logs stored in a HDD 65 and decides if the sum total exceeds a specified value. When the decision result is affirmative, the job is not started, but if the decision result is negative, the job is started. After the job is started, the log management section 45 suspends the processing job in a restartable state, when the log management section 45 decides that the approximate estimate of the data quantity of logs stored in the HDD 65 exceeds the specified value, according to a record of logs other than those relating to the job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
